I made this years ago as a more general furniture maker, just stepping out of 90 degree square everything. The design is crisp, minimal and loosely Mid Century Modern. Made from American white oak it’s a suitable height for counters and bars. Due to it’s angular flat seat it could be more comfortable. It is very good looking however, and makes an excellent side table or plant stand.
Though I’m fond of this stool my design language has moved on and this isn’t a form I’ll be making again. Offered at a stiff discount and with a warm sentiment.
